Sökün Olive

Traceability

Every batch we press carries its own record. The code on the bottle opens it: the grove, the day of the harvest, the day of bottling and the acidity measured in the laboratory.

What traceability means

A bottle that can account for itself

Traceability means nothing on the label has to be taken on trust. Every lot we press is recorded on its own: the grove the olives came from and where that grove sits, the day they were picked, the day the oil was bottled, and the acidity measured in the laboratory. That record is tied to a code. The code is printed on the bottle and on the case, and scanning it opens the record itself — not a marketing page.

  1. 01 — Çukurova

    It begins as a place.

One plain in Adana, farmed by the same family since 1881. Every drop we sell starts here — and nowhere else.

  2. 02 — The grove

    Then as a single grove.

Each grove is registered with its own coordinates. Nothing is bought in, nothing is blended from somewhere else.

  3. 03 — The harvest

    Then as one morning.

Fruit picked in a single day reaches the mill within hours and is cold pressed as one lot — never mixed with another day.

  4. 04 — The lot

And ends as a code you can read.

That lot carries a number. It is printed on the bottle in your hand, and it opens the record you are reading now.

How it works

One code, the whole journey

Nothing about a bottle of Sökün olive oil is a claim you have to take on trust. The batch code links the oil in your hand to the grove it came from, the day it was picked and the laboratory that measured it.
